Geometrically-minded smart lighting company Nanoleaf known for their triangle and square Canvas panels have announced their Learning Series of lighting products which intuitively react to their environment.

Prior to the start of CES 2020, Nanoleaf announced via a press release that the hexagonal light panels they debuted at the industry trade show the previous year would be coming to market in 2020 with some added touches.

While specifics are scarce at this point, the press release does mention that the new Learning series which includes the six-sided lighting panels, is:

…a system of products that complement and work in harmony with one another to make home lighting smarter every day. Through an intuitive blend of intelligent learning, motion sensing, and brightness sensing technology with scheduling…

The press release also notes that the company will release a collection of “interoperable Unified Light Panels…with shape interconnectivity…” which will start with the hexagonal ones. It is unclear at this poinnt whether their existing square and triangular panels will work with this new system.

Finally, Nanoleaf has also teased potential additions to the Learning series in the form of a bulb, button, and switch, but no release date has been stated.
