Aqara is expanding their ever-popular lineup of smart home accessories to include North American versions of their in-wall switches in both single and double rocker configurations with a neutral wire-free option.

Last week, Aqara announced via Twitter (@AqaraSmarthouse) that the U.S. version of their wall switch would be launching today April 27, 2020 and they have made good onn their word.

Starting today, you can get single and double rocker versions of their in-wall switch from Amazon.com in white. The switches that are dropping today require a neutral wire for installation.

You can also pre-order the neutral wire-free variants of the wall switch in single and double rocker configurations as of today as well. The non-neutral wire options are slated to ship May 20, 2020 as of the writing of this post.

The Chinese smart home device manufacturer is also offering its Cube controller. The Cube allows you to control different devices by rotating the 3-dimensional box in a variety of ways. Though not officially HomeKit-compatible, Simon from HomeKit News gave us a great workaround for being able to use the Cube to control HomeKit devices.

All of the switches and the Cube announced today require the Aqara Hub which we recently reviewed and you can check out here.

Shane Whatley and Eric from ModernDayTech both shared their perspectives on the new offerings from Aqara and you can view their reviews below.
